YOUNG LEADERS
SUMMER INSTITUTE
The Young Leaders Summer Institute (YLSI) is a free, nonpartisan, and virtual program for the next generation of civic leaders. Over the course of the summer, participants meet weekly for virtual sessions that feature a wide variety of expert guest speakers and cover various topics related to democracy and leadership.
YOUNG LEADERS
CIVIC ACTION PROGRAM
The Young Leaders Civic Action Program (YLCAP) is meant for young changemakers who use organizing practices to build their leadership skills and strengthen democracy in their communities.
YLCAP is open to teams with at least one member who has completed a Democracy House program, building upon the skills and experiences of those programs to deepen participants’ leadership and organizing skills in service of a stronger democracy.
LEAD 250 FELLOWSHIP
The Leadership, Engagement & Action for Democracy (LEAD) 250 Fellowship, a partnership between Democracy House and the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, is a civic fellowship program focused on nonpartisan democratic engagement in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
